The Middletown Maulers, located just north of Cincinnati, will be holding tryouts June 13, 2026 for their inaugural season in the American Basketball Association (ABA) Central Region Red Division.

Color us corrected. We thought that the Middletown Maulers were a new team to the ABA, but they’re not! They are owned by cousins Kevin S. Aldridge and Kevin L. Aldridge who owned the Ohio Kings.

The Aldridges have moved their team to their hometown and rebranded as the Middletown Maulers.

Being curious as we are, we asked them, “Why?”

“Great financial and venue opportunities too good to pass up led to change,” we were told. Hard to argue with that!

There you have their tryouts information. They want athletes to register first, so make sure you give them a call at (513) 713-5975 to sort out all of the details.

The Maulers are familiar with our in-season weekly harassment (HA!) for scores and information, so keeping tracking of them will be just as easy for us as it was last season to keep track of the Kings.
