Having an inaccurate website is no good. Having no website is even worse. Almost everything is internet-driven now, and you’re doing your small business, team, or organization a massive disservice by not having a nice up-to-date website.
We can build you a website pretty quickly and pretty inexpensively. We can make it do just about anything that a minor league sports team would need — show the roster, show the schedule, sell tickets, stuff like that. We can also build websites for small businesses and just about anyone else!
It’s not as expensive as you might think, and we don’t hide our pricing at all. Plus, when we give you a free NO PRESSURE estimate, that is a maximum price guarantee. You may pay less, but you’ll never pay more than what we quote you.
Additionally, if we build it, we maintain it for free for its entire life. The only thing you’ll have to pay after the website is built are the hard costs of the domain name and hosting software every 3 years.
We are experienced in using WordPress, Wix, GoDaddy, Canva, and a handful of lesser-known providers. They all basically function the same way, so if you have a provider that we’re unfamiliar with, that’s not a problem.
Have Us Build a Website
Want us to build a website for you? Depending on what you’re wanting your site to do, you’re probably looking at about $175 in fees for the domain name and hosting software. Keep in mind, however, that this will last you for 3 years.
We always recommend 3-year subscriptions to each because it often lowers the per-year cost of each, but if you just want 1-year subscriptions to lower the initial cost, we can do that, too.
Then there’s the matter of our labor. A basic website requires about 12-15 hours of labor, and we charge $20/hour, so you’re looking at about $240-$300 in labor in addition to the hard costs.
All told, your estimate for a basic website will be somewhere in the neighborhood of $415-$475 for a website that we’ll build and maintain for its life. Every three years, you’ll have another expenditure of about $175 for hard costs.
We can easily link your site to a ticket source or online store you already have in place (Ticketbud, Eventbrite, your team’s PayPal account, etc.).
If you already have a domain name (such as minotaurmediallc.com), there’s no need to purchase a new one.
If a custom domain name isn’t important to you right now, and you’re happy with something like minotaurmediallc.wordpress.com, you won’t have the cost of purchasing a domain name.
Have Us Rebuild Your Existing Website
Need us to rebuild an already-existing website? $20/hour. We’re fluent in most website providers — WordPress, WIX, etc. — and can figure out any that are new to us (no charge to you while we figure it out). It’s hard to estimate the number of hours of labor until we know what you’re after.
Have Us Maintain Your Website
Need us to simply maintain your already-existing website? $20/hour.
For a typical minor league sports team, you can expect about five hours of labor ($100) during the month before your season begins — adding rosters, schedules, sprucing things up for the new season, etc. During the season, probably about an hour of labor a month — updating scores, editing rosters and schedules, etc. In the off-season, maybe an hour of labor total for the entire off-season, keeping up with your website’s health.
We only bill for the work we actually do, though, so if your site doesn’t require that much maintenance, we don’t bill you for it.
