Minotaur Media announces a fundraising opportunity for minor league sports teams, youth sports teams, and small businesses and organizations.

Give us permission to use your logo and team name, and we’ll create a custom image for you and put it on shirts, hoodies, mugs, posters, and whatever else you want.

Your fans or customers purchase items from our online store, and a large portion of the proceeds go to your team or organization!

What We Need From You

• Your logo and your written permission to use it and your team name in the graphic.
• You can send your logo and that written permission to use it and your team name to minotaurmediallc@gmail.com.
• We also need a way to electronically send you money. We prefer CashApp but also have PayPal available.
• Then we need you to promote the heck out of your online store with us to your fans or customers!

What We Do for You

• We create a unique design for you, add it to our online store on nine (9) different types of products. If you want it on more brands or items than we initially set up, simply let us know.
• We will put your design on the following items:
  • Unisex t-shirts
  • Women’s t-shirts
  • Women’s V-Neck t-shirts
  • Kids’ t-shirts
  • Unisex Hoodies
  • Black drink mugs
  • White drink mugs
  • Posters
  • Ornaments
• We will only put your image on items in your team colors, light grey, dark grey, black, and white items.
• We will run your image past you for your approval before we add it to our store.
• We take a $3 cut from every sale for a licensing fee. You keep the rest of the profit after costs. For apparel, that’s $10/item. For other items, it’s less, but it’s still something.
• We pay you every two (2) weeks.

Limitations

• We will create one (1) design for your team or organization.
• We’re also willing to add one (1) additional design for a particular accomplishment — league champions, conference champions, tournament winners, etc.
• Actual photos of players or employees are not an option due to the size of the image necessary to maintain high-quality items and the fact that we’d need to get permission of every person in the photo.
• We cannot include your league’s logo without their permission. That is your responsibility to provide to us. Be advised that your league may want a licensing fee on each product, too, thus reducing your profits.

• Well, it also gives us a creative outlet.
• Oh, and we also love supporting minor league and youth teams and small businesses!

What does this cost me?

• Nothing. Seriously.

What’s the catch?

• Believe it or not, there is no catch.
• We simply love to create, we’ll take some beer money in licensing fees, and we know how tough it is to raise funds for the underdogs of the world.
• If you can convince all of your fans to purchase one or more of your team’s products from us, imagine the money you can make!

Where is this merchandise coming from, and how long does it take to get to my customers?

• We’re using a U.S.A. provider, and the items are printed right there at their shop in Detroit.
• Apparel is all Gildan brand unless otherwise requested.
• Other brands of apparel that are available (and more expensive than Gildan) are Bella + Canvas and Comfort Colors. Natalie says those are nice brands. So if you want some of those, let us know!
• Items generally ship within 3 business days of your order.
• We ordered samples on a Monday and had them in hand in Indiana on Friday. They look sharp!
• Arrival times may vary depending on how far away from Detroit you are.

Can you be our online merchandise store?

• No. We’re not equipped for that. We’re not here to become or replace your online store or local provider. We’re just willing to create you a custom design to add to your merch options and income, not replace it.

Can you create a custom design for us to add to our own online store to sell?

• Yes, for a one-time licensing fee of $500.

I’m an athlete. Can you make an image and online store for me?

• Certainly.
• If you want an image of yourself in a neutral uniform and setting, we can absolutely work with you. Consider it a small-time NIL opportunity to put some cash in your pocket.
• Your image will be a caricature, not your actual photo.
• If you want your image to represent you on a particular team in the image, you will need to work with your team owner on how licensing fees will work. Will it be 50/50? 30/70? 60/40? 100/0? That’s up to you and your team owner since we’ll be using their logo, team name, and team colors.
• Your team owner will need to contact us with their licensing fees requirements.
• We will run your image past you for your approval before we add it to our store.
• Your profits will depend entirely on how well you advertise your online store. The sky’s the limit.
• We need a way to electronically send you money. We prefer CashApp but also have PayPal available.
• We take a $3 cut from every sale for a licensing fee. You keep the rest of the profit after costs. For apparel, that’s $10/item to be divided between you and your team owner, as agreed upon between you two. For other items, it’s less, but it’s still something.
