The Windy City Inferno, based in Chicago, are preparing to set the American Basketball Association (ABA) ablaze in the 2026-27 season, announcing their tryouts for the upcoming campaign.
The Inferno were founded in 2024, are owned by the Taylor Group, and are coached by Frank Lollino, Jr.
They are also clients of ours, as we built and maintain their website.
Tryouts for the 2026-27 Windy City Inferno will be held on August 25, 26, and 27, 2026 at 8 p.m. CT each night at the St. Moses Athletic Center located at 7140 S. Calumet Avenue in Chicago. Candidates must attend all three tryouts.
Tryout fees are $50 in advance and $75 at the door. To register, contact Coach Lollino at (312) 882-3838. Take our word for it: calling Coach Lollino leaves a bigger impression on him than texting him, but either one is an option.
Entering their third season in the ABA, the Inferno have had a lot of success already. The inaugural squad in 2024-25 went 13-7 overall, falling to the back-to-back ABA Champions in a close game in the ABA Central Region Black Division Final.
In 2025-26, the team went 15-3 overall.
