Minotaur Media, LLC is extremely excited to announce that the American Basketball Association (ABA) 2025-26 Champions, the Austin Bats, have hired Minotaur Media to provide them with graphics during the 2026-27 season.
Minotaur Media provided the ABA with most of its graphics, including the official playoffs brackets, for the 2025-26 postseason and Championship Weekend.
Leading up to the big event, Eric profiled profiled the Bats and why you should root for them. He then went on to call the Championship Weekend games in Atlanta, including both of the Bats’ games that culminated in them winning the 2025-26 Championship.
Additionally, Eric reimagined the Bats’ logo prior to the 2025-26 ABA season and again in a 3D metallic format for Championship Weekend.
Eric met the Austin Bats’ founder, owner, and CEO Leticia Castillo, and her staff in Atlanta, and once she connected all of the graphics she saw online and in the Atlanta gym to him, a professional relationship was born.
With his own Texas roots (he lived there for 10 years and is a graduate of Texas A&M University), his admiration of the Bats’ players throughout the season and in person in Atlanta, his utmost respect for Ms. Castillo, the genuine enthusiasm shown by her and her administrative staff in the stands in Atlanta, and the unexpected and much appreciated kind words from Bats’ staff member Gilberto Irigoyen in a private conversation, Eric instantly became a very big fan of the organization.
“Everything I learned online about the Austin Bats prior to Championship Weekend, along with my personal experience with their staff, players, and fans in Atlanta in their championship run highly motivated me to do what I can to assist the organization in the future,” Eric said. “When I was immersed in their fan base twice over the weekend, I could immediately tell that this is a flagship franchise for the ABA. They represent everything I love about minor league sports and the ABA, and these folks are a class act.”
As luck would have it, Ms. Castillo reached out after Championship Weekend, and here we are.
