The Windy City NativHawks — an expansion team in the American Basketball Association (ABA) — has hired Minotaur Media, LLC for a website update and season-long graphics work. The team from Chicago will compete in the ABA Central Region Black Division in 2026-27.

The NativHawks are owned by Chadwick Atkins, who is both Native American and deaf. Chadwick reached out to Minotaur Media after paying a large sum of money to another website provider but not receiving the level of service that he expected from them.

“Chadwick put forth a valiant effort to put a website together himself, but he wisely recognized making the NativHawks’ site do what he wanted it to do was going to be very time-consuming,” said Eric Ivie, owner of Minotaur Media. “He has bigger things to spend his time on, trying to get an expansion team off the ground in the ABA.”

Eric has been working with Chadwick to get the website looking and functioning the way Chadwick wants it.

“He is a man with a lot of fantastic ideas,” said Ivie. “Making those ideas come to fruition is what Minotaur Media is all about.”

While it’s still a work in progress, fans can check out the NativHawks’ website as it’s built at: https://abawindycitynativhawks.com/
