The Lebanon Leprechauns have announced tryouts for their 2027 season in The Basketball League (TBL). The Leprechauns are based in Lebanon, Indiana, on the northwest side of Indianapolis, in Boone County.

The Leprechauns are entering their sixth season in the TBL after posting a best-ever 19-5 regular season record in 2026 and a best-ever 22-8 record overall as they advanced to the TBL Midwest Division Championship Series — the furthest they’ve ever advanced in the TBL playoffs in franchise history.

Building on that momentum, the Leprechauns are gearing up for the 2027 season, holding tryouts on Sunday, Sept. 27, 2026 at 3 p.m. ET on their home court inside The Farmers Bank Fieldhouse, located at 645 Fieldhouse Way, Lebanon, IN.

Tryout fees are $75 in advance or $100 at the door.

According to their Square checkout:

An open tryout / free agent workout for TBL’s Lebanon Leprechauns professional basketball team is on September 27th 2026 at the Farmers Bank Fieldhouse at 3pm. Players sign contracts that pay between $500 to $3,500 per month. Next season kicks off this Spring of 2027. Don’t miss this chance to earn a spot on the Leprechauns 6th season roster! Cost is $75 in advance ($100 at the door).

Historically, the TBL regular season has started in late February or early March, often with a few preseason games before then. The regular season generally ends in late May, with the playoffs starting immediately afterwards.

Last year, the TBL Championship Series was held in mid-June.

We know of several American Basketball Association (ABA) players who have advanced to the TBL on a variety of teams. Please be aware that ABA players will not be able to finish the ABA regular season or playoffs if they are signed by a TBL team. Obviously, the Leprechauns and other TBL teams do not want to risk unnecessary injury to their players in other leagues.

We have no connection to the Lebanon Leprechauns or the TBL and simply post this to alert players who follow us to this opportunity.

Good luck!
